January-June 2023 Reporting Period has ended
The January to June reporting period has come to an end. You have until 30 July to finalise your data entry before the system closes. We would like to encourage you to enter your data as soon as possible so we can help you with any data entry errors that may have occurred over the last six months.
If you have any technical queries relating to the Data Exchange, please contact the Data Exchange Helpdesk between 9.00am – 5.00pm AEDT Monday to Friday, via email or phone 1800 020 283.
NEW Fact Sheet
To assist with your end of reporting period needs, the new ‘Bulk XML upload errors & explanations’ fact sheet lists the possible ‘error’ messages that bulk uploading providers may receive. It explains the Data Exchange rules behind the ‘errors’, what might be causing an ‘error’ to occur, and suggestions to resolve. For more information on the bulk upload process go to the Upload methods task card.
Useful tips
Bulk upload error reports can display both ‘error’ and ‘warning’ messages, and it’s important to know the difference:
- ‘Warning’ messages indicate that the record(s) have successfully be created on the Data Exchange, but there are things organisations need to be aware of or change at a later date. For example: Addresses that could not be validated with the information input but still meet locality validation. This provides organisations with the opportunity to amend at a later date if they wish.
‘Error’ messages are true failures where the referenced record did not meet business validation rules and did not create on the Data Exchange. Records that ‘error’ need to be fixed and re-uploaded in order to be successfully created on the Data Exchange.
